What You Can Expect From Therapy

I use all of myself in the service of the therapy and because I’ve had previous careers where it was my job to speak up or intervene on behalf of my clients, you will find me more talkative that other therapists you may have experienced. I’m not the type who sits silently opposite you and only listens.

What passes between us is co-created and will forever change me as well as you.  For these reasons, I prefer to work long term / open-ended but my aim remains the same…

…to make myself redundant as soon as possible.

Sorts of issues I can help you with:

  • Anxiety

  • Bereavement

  • Childhood trauma

  • Depression

  • Gender Sexuality Relationship Diversity

  • OCD

  • Relationship problems

  • Sex

  • Traumatic stress

  • Work-related problems

We can do this…

A: You can contact me here

B: I will arrange a brief phone consultation

C: We then arrange an initial session

Online or Walk ’n Talk

Lockdowns demonstrated that doing psychotherapy remotely through Skype etc. is as effective as face-to-face sessions. I am also fortunate to live near Primrose Hill and Regents Park, so I also offer socially-distanced Walk ’n Talk therapy, which is very popular.

I’m happy with whichever you prefer, or in combination. I recommend a face-to-face meeting at some point early in the therapy but what works for you works for me because you are the expert in you.

Face-to-face psychotherapy indoors is suspended until further notice.

Sessions

My sessions last 60 minutes.

Assessment sessions last 90 minutes. They are as much your chance to assess me as it is mine to assess you.

Fees

Payable in advance, by bank transfer:

£120 per hour, or £180 after 6pm

Assessment sessions: £180
